We’re a group of local transit riders fighting for improvements to Routes 6 and 7 along Bank St, serving Centretown, the Glebe, Old Ottawa South, Alta Vista, and Carleton University. Our goal is to organize fellow transit users and make OC Transpo the frequent, reliable, accessible, low carbon option our community deserves.

Our Priorities

Frequency

Increased off-peak service for the 6 and 7, especially in the evenings.

Bus lanes

Dedicated bus lanes and signal priority to keep buses out of traffic on Bank St.

Accessibility

Clean, welcoming bus stops - with heating in the winter, more seating, and trees for shade.

Representation

Have transit riders and operators formally represented on the city’s Transit Committee.
