We’re a group of local transit riders fighting for improvements to Routes 6 and 7 along Bank St, serving Centretown, the Glebe, Old Ottawa South, Alta Vista, and Carleton University. Our goal is to organize fellow transit users and make OC Transpo a frequent, reliable, accessible, low carbon option for our community.

Our Priorities

Frequency

Increased off-peak service for the 6 and 7, especially in the evenings.

Bus lanes

Dedicated bus lanes (shared with bikes) and traffic signal priority for buses on Bank St.

Accessibility

Clean, welcoming bus stops - with heating in the winter, more seating, and trees for shade.

Representation

Have transit riders and operators formally represented on the city’s Transit Committee.
